Shashwat completed his B.A. in History from Kirori Mal College, Delhi in 2014 and then went on to do his LL.B from the Faculty of Law. Through litigation he wanted to assist people at both a micro and a macro level through assisting individuals who have been wronged as well as making change at the level of policymaking, planning and policy research. While working on issues of environment and environment law, he saw the importance of a campaign and working with the NSS Unit of his college to increase awareness on the need to protect the environment and climate change. The main motive to study law was to empower himself and work with the due process of law to reach out to communities in need and provide assistance.
