In 2012, Jeeja Ghosh Nagm, a disability rights activist was forced to de-board a SpiceJet Flight as the airlines deemed her unfit for the fellow passengers. This caused her humiliation, leaving her traumatised. Thereafter, she filed a case in the Supreme Court against the airlines. This case was fought by the lawyers from SLIC and on 12th May 2016, the SC issued a progressive and path breaking judgment. In this interaction Jeeja discusses her case and the recent debate over terming "viklang" as "divyang".
