The Socio-Legal Information Centre (SLIC) conducted a two-day meet of rights activists, lawyers and tribals to discuss issues pertaining to the effective implementation of the Forest Rights Act. The two-day meeting – which concluded on Sunday, September 1, was attended by 176 delegates from 50 organisations across 18 states.
