Socio-Legal Information Centre conducted a zoom webinar on the use of law for prisoners on 17.05.2020 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The webinar consisted of around 90 participants from different parts of the country. The objective of the webinar is threefold

(i) to strategise on the implementation of the recent Supreme Court orders on prisoners’ rights in various states in India,

(ii) to strengthen the Prisoners’ Rights Initiative, and most importantly

(iii) to establish state networks committed towards working for the prisoners’ rights.
